Hollow World will be re-releasing their debut EP, Beneath The Frozen Sky, next Friday, October 26th via Truth Inc. Records in celebration of it’s five year anniversary. The new version – which features re-tracked guitars and bass – will also include a brand new track titled “The Rose Of Rancid Petals”. The song saw former vocalist Karl Steller return to the fold alongside current vocalist Ben Roberts. The single, and its video, are available now below. Roberts explains the song:
“It basically focuses on the idea that when you are in a really bad place like that, that suicide can be quite tempting. So it’s a song about flirting with the idea of suicide. It’s not something that we have really touched on in Hollow World before. I mean we have some songs that go to pretty dark places, but it’s not been something that has been as personal as this one has been for me.”
Pre-order options of the EP are available now through HollowWorld.com. Next month, the group will tour their native Australia with Âme Noire. Find the dates below and get tickets here.
