Finnish atmospheric rock outfit Heart Tide has released a video for his track “Paradise”. Mastermind Samu Hietainen said of the song:
“‘Paradise’ is another example of how many different genres influence my songwriting. This also has the atmospheric synths and catchy melodies found in ‘Ghost’ and ‘Alright’ but it’s a lot more straightforward song. Lyrically it’s very sad and dark but you might not notice it considering how energetic the music is. I have written hundreds of songs but I think this is my favourite I have written so far. That should tell something.
Looking at the big picture, I think ‘Paradise’ showcases well that I can write really good songs. And I mean really, really good songs. I have never wanted to put a ceiling on anything that I do and this song shows the potential that Heart Tide has. I’m also using Heart Tide as a business plan in a sense because I want to write for and with other people as well, for big artists and bands. The purpose is to get people’s attention so I can get those opportunities. I just want to see how far Heart Tide can go and how far I can go as a songwriter.”
“Paradise” is the latest single released by the Heart Tide this year. Previous singles “Ghost” and “Alright” are available digitally on iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon.
