Tuscaloosa, Alabama quartet Gideon have today announced signing with their new label home, Sumerian Records. In celebration of the news, the band released their new banger “Til the Wheels Fall Off” with an official music video coming soon. When asked about the signing and new music, the band commented:
“We’ve always done things our way, and Sumerian Records believed in the vision. This song is a tribute to the miles behind us and the road ahead. We’re not here for a pit stop—we’re here to break the speedometer. With Sumerian in the passenger seat, we’re going ‘Til the Wheels Fall Off.’“

The band has a stacked second half of 2025 full of touring, beginning tonight at The Canal Club in Richmond, Virginia, before bringin’ the heat to Vans Warped Tour D.C. this Sunday, June 15 and kicking off their North American run alongside Miss May I, Dreamwake and Soulkeeper next week. Gideon will then be hitting the road with Unity TX before performing at Louder Than Life 2025 and the New England Metal & Hardcore Fest in September, and will round up the year with Kublai Khan TX, Drain and Guilt Trip this fall.
