Official press release:

Full Scale Riot has officially joined the Eulogy Recordings family this week, the label signing the band for their upcoming debut full-length due this September. While no other details on the record are yet available, Full Scale Riot will return to Trax East where they recorded their Depopulation debut EP for a week in May to capture the new album.

Full Scale Riot is a Northern New Jersey/New York City-area hardcore quintet founded by Tim Mc Murtrie former original guitarist of the legendary band M.O.D. FSR was formed back in 2006 by guitarist McMurtrie and singer BJ Allen right when Tim was fresh from disbanding another one of his popular local rock and rap bands, Rhythm Trip. When Tim and BJ met through a mutual friend, they formed an instant musical bond and the initial concept for the band was born. Through the years, the two stayed in touch and with “the current state of our nation’s politics and world issues decided that it would be a good time to bring Full Scale Riot back. This time it’s all about aggression and getting back to the roots.” The lineup consists of Allen on vocals, McMurtrie on guitar, Jeff “F’N” Wood (Shat, Murder League All-Star, ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan live, ex-M.O.D.) on bass, and drummer Evan Rossiter.

With a diversified twist on groove-strewn New York Hardcore, Full Scale Riot approaches society’s systematic problems with a riotous lyrical standpoint, inciting forward-thinking activism versus senseless sheep mentality or senseless violence, merging elements of ’90s NYHC icons Burn, Maximum Penalty, Inside Out, Orange 9mm and the like into the band’s foundation. Depopulation was recorded and mastered at Trax East during the brutal 2015 Winter, the EP’s six point-blank anthems meant to inspire unity through uprising.

Full Scale Riot´s Depopulation EP is currently available on iTunes, Amazon, Bandcamp and more. Now signed to Eulogy Recordings, their first full-length will see release in September 2016. Watch for more announcements in the weeks ahead.
