Pop-punkers Friday Night Lites have released a music video for their track “Bases Loaded”. Frontman Joey Genovese says of the track, which is based on a personal experience:
“It’s like a literal analogy. Finding my way home. I put off working on myself for too long. The fine line between life and death is real. Respect that line. You don’t know if you’ll wake up tomorrow or if you’ll know where you are when you do.”
The single is off the band’s debut EP Wherever You May Be, which arrives November 20th. The effort was produced and engineering by Kevin Bilingslea at Halo Studios. The outfit said of the forthcoming release:
“The album has many relatable ‘lows’ one may have in LIFE, that don’t have the chance to take over completely. I want people to see that ‘light at the end of the tunnel’. I hate hearing of suicide and overdosing on drugs. Life is so amazing and brilliant without those destructive habits that sometimes take us down and out.”
Physical pre-orders can be purchased here, while digital copies can be secured at this location.
