Official press release:
As Flaw awaits their summer run with Smile Empty Soul, they’ve been busy at work in the studio, working on their fourth official full-length release. This comes just after Tommy Gibbons made his return to Flaw earlier this year to take over lead guitar duties.
Guitarist Tommy Gibbons states:
“I’m excited to be back in Flaw and even more stoked to be a major part in writing this new record. I’m trying hard to keep the Flaw sound that people love alive, but also want the band to evolve. This process has challenged me to become a better musician and a better writer.”
Flaw has been steady plugging away in the studio for the majority of May, going between Arizona and Wisconsin, working with producer Rick Landers who produced Flaw’s most recent effort Divided We Fall released by Pavement Entertainment.
Vocalist Chris Volz, the only remaining original member, says that he:
“Hasn’t been this excited for a record since, Through The Eyes.”
While there is no set release date as of yet, Volz is projecting a late summer album release, with a new single dropping as early as June.
