ExitWounds have released a music video for their new single “Divide” (SharpTone). The track is based on the urban legend of Edward Mordrake, the man with two faces.
The song is also the band’s final with frontman Alec Harter, who has decided to step down for personal reasons. The split was amicable and the band intend on moving forward with a new vocalist. The group issued the following statement via Facebook:
“Our latest single ‘Divide’ is now available on all streaming platforms!
Unfortunately, this will be our last song and video with Alec. Due to personal reasons he decided to step down from his position in the band. We respect his decision and are on good terms. But we will be moving forward with a new vocalist.
Come see us on our upcoming tour with Home Seeker to see who it is and get a taste of what’s next for ExitWounds!
“Divide” is available now digitally via iTunes, Google Play, and Spotify. This Friday, ExitWounds and Home Seeker will hit the road for a string of U.S. performances. Get the dates below.
