Official press release:
A new division of Signal Rex devoted to challenging, far-out sounds, Dissociated Records is proud to present Dulvitund’s Huldar Slóðir on August 26th. Dulvitund is a one-man project of Þórir Óskar Björnsson. Starting in late 2013, Dulvitund’s music consists of gloomy electronics and minimalistic percussion. The human condition and crippling depression are the main themes, along with the cold, hard reality that we all face. Dulvitund focuses on song structure and executes songs in a raw manner.
After the highly reckoned 2015 debut álbum, Lífsins þungu spor, which saw the project play live at such events as the latest Eistnaflug last July and at the upcoming Norðanpaunk on July 29th, Dulvitund is back under the banner of Dissociated Records to release the Huldar Slóðir EP: a limited cassette with on-body tampography print, with folded slipcase, matte lamination, and shrinkwrapping.
This EP is preceding a second album for the Icelandic dark electronic project Dulvitund, set to be released by Dissociated Records in 2017. Cover and track listing are as follows:
Huldar Slóðir track listing:
1. “Minningar Um Þjáningar”
2. “Huldar Slóðir”
3. “Kvöl”
