DevilDriver have premiered the first new song from their forthcoming record Trust No One. Titled “Daybreak”, the track can be heard above courtesy of Loudwire. Vocalist Dez Fafara says of the song:
“This song is about not fearing the unknown, and never giving up in life no matter what life throws at you, learning to hold your head high through even the darkest of times.”
Guitarist Mike Spreitzer offered:
“‘Daybreak‘ is the first song that our new guitarist Neal [Tiemann] brought to the table early in the writing process. He had a great deal of tunes to show me when he first joined the band. After listening to all of them, ‘Daybreak‘ was the first one that I felt deserved a place on the record.”
The band’s new full-length is set to arrive May 13th through Napalm. Pre-orders can be secured at this location.
Additionally, the band have revealed a European tour in support of the release; dates below. That run will be preceded by treks with Holy Grail, Incite, & Hemlock, Hatebreed, Devil You Know, and Act Of Defiance, and Ministry.
