Swedish death metal quartet Deranged are streaming the rough mix of a new track titled “Hello From The Gutters”; check it out below. The group are currently at Berno Studio (Amon Amarth, The Crown, Witchery) with producer Berno Paulsson. Drummer/founder Rikard Wermen issued the following update on Deranged’s progress:
“We´re right now caught in good ol’ Berno Studio located in our hometown Malmö, working on the new full length (titled Struck By A Murderous Siege) and things are going rather smooth. Mean, we record the way we’ve done the last 20+ years. We go in and just fucking play. That’s it! Not trying to overproduce anything. We want our shit to sound alive and (in)human. Eight songs of adrenalin and filth soaked death metal straight from the sewers of a cruel and malicious world.
To sum the whole thing up…Rikard Wermén (drums): Who are you?
Berno Paulsson (producer): I am Berno.
Rikard Wermén: Have you come for me?
Berno Paulsson: I have long walked by your side.
Rikard Wermén: So I have noticed.
Berno Paulsson: Are you ready?
Rikard Wermén: My body is ready, but I am not”.
Struck By A Murderous Siege is expected to hit stores on October 28th through Agonia Records.
Deranged have also revealed their first live performances of 2017. More are being booked and will be announced at a later date.
