Official press release:
Sweden’s old-school, melodic death metal band Demonical joins a roster of artists that includes Gorgoroth, Orange Goblin and fellow countryman Grand Magus, by signing a North American booking agreement with Tone Deaf Touring.
The band – who is currently recording a brand new album, whose progress can be followed on their Facebook page – had this to say on the newly signed deal, through Martin Schulman (bass):
“Demonical are thrilled to hook up with Tone Deaf Touring for the North American market. Our fanbase over there has grown tremendously during the past years and now with such strong booking partner, we are eagerly looking forward to bringing our Stockholm-style death metal upon US soil.”
Erik Jarvis of Tone Deaf Touring commented:
“It is our great pleasure to announce a partnering with Stockholm metal stalwarts, Demonical and Tone Deaf Touring. We can’t wait to finally bring them over to North America again and showcase their merciless, aural assault and this absolutely brutal take on Swedish death metal.”
Amidst working on a new album, Demonical plans to breathe new life into its first three studio albums: Servants of the Unlight (2007), Hellsworn (2009) and Death Infernal (2011). The re-releases are slated for October 8th on Agonia Records, in deluxe digipak CD, colored vinyl and picture disc.
