Japanese death dealers Defiled will released their eighth studio effort, Horror Beyond Horror, on September 20th through Season of Mist. Pre-orders are now live and can be found on physical and digital formats at this location.
The group tracked the effort at Studio Zot in Tokyo with the band’s handling a fair amount of the production. The band’s guitarist Yusuke Sumita produced the release, with vocalist/guitarist Shinichiro Hamada and drummer Keisuke Hamada handling engineering. Mixing and mastering was tasked to Kenji Kikuchi at Studio Nest in Chiba, Japan. The cover art was crafted by Wes Benscoter (Cattle Decapitation, Autopsy); you can find it below alongside the track listing.
Additionally, the group have released a music video for the efforted lead single, “To See Behind the Wall”. The clip was directed and edited by Seaside 99 Works. You can find it below.
