Alt-goth rockers Death Valley High are streaming another new track off their impending record CVLT [AS FUK] titled “Psalm Bitch”. Vocalist Reyka Osburn said of it:
“Lyrically, the dichotomy of “holiness” intermingling with “spitefulness” was the inspiration behind ‘Psalm Bitch’. There’s something alluring about a sinner in the saint. The song is dedicated to all of the femme fatales that walk that line.
Structurally, the song shouldn’t even exist. The foundation is entirely ‘Batcave’ and borrows more than its share of Death Rock sensibilities. I came up with an almost polarized twist for the vocals, and it quickly became a forerunner for my favorite song on the record.”
minus HEAD Records will have CVLT [AS FUK] in stores on November 4th. Pre-order it ahead of its release via Amazon or iTunes.
