Kent, U.K. metalcore five-piece COVE released their new 7-track EP We Were Once Lost yesterday. Vocalist Sam King said of it:
“The EP title is a lyric taken from the track “Found At Last” which is about the beauty of risk taking, which often being in bands involves, whether it be financially or personally. Many of the themes on the songs are personal to us, which makes the process of performing them live cathartic, something we’ve often felt on the other end having watched bands growing up. Many of us in the band listen to various types of music and draw inspiration from a wide range of genres which we feel is reflected in our music, from technical discordant guitar parts, to softly sung clean vocals.”
