Citizens announce new record Fear, drop video for new track “Looking Up”

Official press release:

Citizens have announced their forthcoming full-length album, Fear, and shared a new music video for the single “Looking Up“. Fans can watch the video exclusively with Baeble Music:

Speaking to the message behind “Looking Up”, the band said:

“A song for taking back the power of outlook. Who says we can’t choose optimism over pessimism? One by one a chorus is forming of smiling faces dancing in gold.”

Fear will be available everywhere on May 3rd, and the band will kick off a North American tour next month, with more dates to come in this fall. For a full list of dates, please see below.

Citizens have produced Fear from start to finish without the backing of a record label. The band reached out to fans via Kickstarter and have raised over $62,000 for Fear (over $40,000 more than their original goal). Learn more about the project here. Pre-order the album from and iTunes.
