Iconic Santa Cruz, California act BL’AST! has signed with Rise Records and has just released a two-song EP entitled For Those Who’ve Graced The Fire!, the band’s first new music in over 20 years.
Featuring core members Clifford Dinsmore, Mike Neider, Joey Castillo (Queens Of The Stone Age, Danzig, Eagles Of Death Metal, Wasted Youth) and Nick Oliveri (Queens Of The Stone Age, Kyuss), the band is joined on this new EP by their longtime friends Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana) on drums and Chuck Dukowski (Black Flag) on bass (who filled in for Joey and Nick due to touring obligations). The songs were recorded and mixed at Dave’s Studio 606.
