Noisey have premiered the new music video for Ides Of Gemini frontwoman Sera Timms’ other outfit Black Mare. The clip for the band’s track “Low Crimes” can be viewed above. Timms comments:

“I was trying to capture a deep, lush underworld feeling on ‘Low Crimes’,but I wanted there to be a thread of light and softness. My own voice was not providing this, so I ended up having Tara Vanflower from Lycia add backing vocals which gives the vocal parts this perfect ethereal shimmering quality just hovering above the darkness.”

“Low Crimes” is part of split 7″ with Lycia that hits stores via Magic Bullet Records on Record Store Day (April 18th). The Black Mare/Lycia is available for pre-order now on black vinyl and grey swirl vinyl at this location. Digital copies are also available and can be purchased via Bandcamp or iTunes.
