Official press release:

Stoke-on-Trent, UK’s Black Coast have signed to Papercut Recordings, the label from Leo Valeri and Ryan “Tuck” O’Leary. The partnership launches with new single “Overflow”, punctuating a bold new chapter for the band and serving as the first step toward a full album planned for Spring 2026 (more on that to come). Fans can stream “Overflow” HERE. Watch the accompanying music video here:

“Overflow” narrows the frame to the private headspace people use to cope when life swells too loud. Speaking on the track, vocalist Charlie Hewitt shares:

That sentiment threads through Black Coast’s catalog, which has drawn comparisons to Alice in Chains, Deftones, and Linkin Park while carving out its own identity. The band has accumulated over 4 million streams across platforms, with their work tackling mental health, personal struggle, and the weight of unprocessed emotion.

“Overflow” arrives as Black Coast enter into a bold new chapter. Their newly inked deal with Papercut Recordings comes after years of self-releasing music and building a dedicated following through relentless touring and raw, emotionally charged performances. The band has worked with producer Sam Bloor at Lower Lane Studios since 2019, a partnership that has shaped their evolution from their 2021 debut album Outworld through their 2023 self-titled EP.

Black Coast will support the release with in EU and UK tour dates in November and December, including shows with Silly Goose and a London date supporting Profiler on December 10 at The Black Heart.
