“The clip at the beginning of the video was from a speech given by Robert F. Kennedy on the night Martin Luther King was assassinated. This video serves to remind us that the more things change, the more things stay the same… It’s 2018 and we still need to take a stand against racism and unchecked bigotry. Hatred, fear, animosity, and tension run rampant and the media pushes an agenda that further divides us. [Quoting the RFK speech] ‘What we need in the United States is not division; what we need in the United States is not hatred; what we need in the United States is not violence and lawlessness, but is love and wisdom and compassion…’ These words ring as true now as when they were first spoken fifty years ago. It’s time to stand together, and it’s time to break down these walls of hate.”
