“‘Tools of the Trade’ was the first single we dropped off our new record Initium Mors and we partnered Marcelle Marais and her crew at Tritonia Films for the video. This video is easily the coolest thing any of us have ever done. Marcelle took the imagery of this song and truly made it come to life for us.”
Speaking of the song itself, Laberge adds:
“‘Tools of the Trade’ is a song about an evil executioner carrying out his mission. It’s pretty on the nose. I just wanted to write a song that fit both the death metal and medieval vibes of the band. We feel that was well represented in the video.”
