Vocalist/guitarist Brennan Justice comments:
“‘Archangel’ is written about night terrors that I’d been struggling with for several years. It was a paralyzing experience, waking up in a panic, not quite knowing where I am, and leaving me anxious for hours or sometimes several days after. Once I accepted that, you know, this is happening and I have to really think outside the box to get rid of it, I started praying to Archangel Michael for protection while I sleep. So the song is about the terrors and my prayer for a safe place to sleep.”
