Are Alex Skolnick and Mike Portnoy joining Megadeth?

It is possible that Megadeth have found the musicians that will be replacing former guitarist Chris Broderick and drummer Shawn Drover. This is a hunch but it’s a pretty strong one because how often do three people text the exact same thing at nearly the exact same time?

This is purely speculation of course but man, how cool would it be to have Skolnick and Portnoy join Megadeth! Even if they aren’t joining Megadeth, a side project featuring these three musicians wouldn’t hurt either. They’re all seasoned musicians and a collaboration involving them is definitely something worth checking out.

So, those are two theories on what this could mean. Again, this is all speculation but if and when something official is revealed we’ll be sure to post about it.

Third theory, they’re doing it to mess with everyone’s heads because they can.
