Lifeforce Records is thrilled to announce the signing of one of the most interesting and most active German hardcore punk infused black metal acts Ancst to the roster. It is a great addition to the diverse roster of bands Lifeforce Records stands for and we expect nothing but great things to come from this collaboration.
Since their formation in 2011 as a two-piece studio side project, Ancst have been among those spearheading the new wave of hardcore punk infused black metal in the European DIY underground. While sporting both hardcore and metal socializing backgrounds, the self proclaimed collective has perfectly combined fierce melodic black metal and brutal, metallic hardcore crust with angry, socially and politically conscious lyrics. After two highly acclaimed albums and an impressive amount of EPs and splits on labels such as Vendetta Records, Alerta Antifascista, Supreme Chaos or Halo Of Flies, Ancst have been praised by the international music press as well as HC kids and metal heads alike. After transforming into a full blown live band in 2014, Ancst has appeared on festivals such as Fluff Fest, Bloodshed Fest or the New Noise Fest and has been touring mainland Europe as well as the UK relentlessly.
