U.K. experimental/alternative trio Anathema have announced their first North American tour in support of their upcoming full-length The Optimist. Guitar player Daniel Cavanagh comments:
“Touring the U.S. and Canada is always a fantastic privilege. These countries have been the birthplace of some of the most revered recording artists of all time. We are delighted to visit the east coast and we promise to visit the west coast, following up soon. Our new album, The Optimist, is set in America. It will be a blast!”
Tickets for the trek go on sale this Friday, April 21st. Anathema, on the other hand, won’t be available until June 9th through Kscope.
