Industrial rockers Amerakin Overdose are streaming a new track titled “Letting Go”, which features a guest spot by ex-Mushroomhead vocalist Waylon Reavis. Check it out below courtesy of Idobi, alongside the recently released video for their song “I, Alone”. Band multi-instrumentalist/producer The Human said of the song:
“‘Letting Go’ is a track about conflict, and how we as people almost seem to seek out that conflict instead of growing above and beyond it. There is a back and forth at work in the track both lyrically and musically that represents the struggle to let go of the anger we have and move forward.”
Reavis adds:
“Working with Amerakin Overdose was a blast. I love how the track turned out. It was a nice change to create something that forced me to put myself in a different headspace.”
The tracks are taken from the group’s upcoming record The Great Amerakin Dream, which will be out September 30th. Pre-orders are now live via the band’s
