Comments vocalist Steve Naemark:
“‘Unrelenting Storms’ is about existential rot and decay. The lyrics depict humanity leaving the world barren, abusing the very thing that made their existence possible. It’s a song with poetic lyrics layered in imagery. On a more personal level, the song is about helplessly watching everyone you love pass away. ‘Unrelenting Storms’ carries a message that encompasses the theme of the entire album.”
