A number of performances from the finale of Metal Injection’s Slay at Home Fest are now available via the website’s YouTube channel. Below, you can find full performances from French death metallers Akiavel, and Oregan-based metalcore unit Ligature Marks. The group’s are supporting their new studio efforts, Væ Victis (Akia Records) and Set Oceans on Fire, respectively.
Additionally, covers of Bloodbath’s “Eaten” and Judas Priest’s “Electrict Eye” from the online festival have also been shared. The Bloodbath cover was performed by Abysmal Dawn frontman Charles Elliott, Megadeth drummer Dirk Verbeuren, Cattle Decapitation bassist Olivier Pinard, Intronaut guitarist Sacha Dunable, and Heathen/Prototype guitarsit Kragen Lum. The footage and audio was mixed, mastered, and re-amped by Elliott at Tastemaker Audio.
Judas Priest’s “Electric Eye” cover was done by The Black Dahlia Murder’s Brandon Ellis on guitar and vocals, Steve DiGiorgio of Testament/Death To All on bass, and King Diamond’s Matt Thompson on drums.
