UK metalcore unit Acres has announced an extended version of their new album The Host, released earlier this year on Solid State Records. The effort will feature three additional tracks, one of which is now streaming. Appearing on this new edition of the record are the songs “Take My Last Breath”, “Push Me Away” featuring The Plot In You’s Landon Tewers, and “Welcome to the Family”. A visualizer for “Push Me Away” is now available and can be found below. Speaking to the song, the band stated:
“‘Push Me Away’ is almost like a confession of self-doubt, a reflection on feeling like you’re the weight holding someone back, and believing they’d be better off without you. When we wrote this in the studio, we instantly knew this was the song we wanted to have a feature on and we honestly couldn’t think of anyone better than Landon. We’re so grateful he wanted to be part of this!”

Acres will be out on the road this fall supporting Like Moths to Flames on a North American tour. Rounding out the lineup will be Kingdom of Giants and HEAVENSGATE. Tickets are on sale now. Dates can be found below.
