Death metal outfit Abiotic have debuted an audio stream of a new track titled “Emerald”; their first in four years. You can get the song digitally via Bandcamp. The group said of it:

‘Emerald’ is the culmination of nearly three years of thinking Abiotic would never be again. The song is based on the tragic event of one of the band’s closest friends losing his wife, her final day, and what it meant to the ones that loved her most. She is survived by their 10 year old son and 25% of the proceeds will be going to his education, the James Pennington Education Fund. A huge thank you goes out to everyone supporting us and in turn, helping someone a part of the Abiotic family to heal from a tragedy. Experience the pain of loss with us.”
