A Story Inspired have a new single out titled “Overcome/Overthrow”, which features guest vocals by Matty Mullins of Memphis May Fire. Guitarist Ryan Ridley said of working with Mullins:
“As emerging artists it was surreal working with Matty Mullins. Knowing that we would be releasing a track featuring someone who has always been an inspiration to the band has been very exciting to us! His generosity and willingness to help us succeed in producing this single has been an awesome opportunity that we are extremely grateful for.”
The song is set to appear on the post-hardcore outfit’s upcoming sophomore EP, which will be released this fall. The song was produced by Andrew Baylis (My Enemies And I, Conditions). The lyric video was created by Brandon Pettit using clips of the band’s shows that were captured by Kelsey Traxler and John Quinn.
