Blackgaze project Unreqvited have been announced as the opening act for the Autumn Asylum Tour, which will be headlined by Harakiri For The Sky, with Ghost Bath providing direct support. Unrequivted mastermind 鬼 comments:
“I am absolutely ecstatic to be joining forces with two of my favorite bands in the genre, Ghost Bath, and Harakiri for the Sky, for the Autumn Asylum Tour. Unreqvited has been a wonderful personal outlet for me over the years to express myself freely and honestly by doing everything on my own within the confines of my bedroom. I never planned on taking it out on the road (or even outside of my bedroom), but I think that the time is finally right for me to do so. I can hardly wait to meet and perform for all of the wonderful fans that have been consuming the art that I’ve been creating these past 6 years.”
Speaking of his live lineup (which you can find below), he adds:
“Victor, Robin and I have toured together in previous bands and we are to this day still very close friends. Robin and I also have a music project called ‘Write Home’, and we have lived together for over half a decade. It was a no-brainer that they would both come along with me for this tour, since they’re both fantastic musicians. Alec has played in multiple local bands around Ottawa, and has also been a good friend of ours throughout the years. We’ve played together in the past, although it was very briefly. He’s a fantastic drummer, so naturally he was my first choice for the Unreqvited live band!”
